Software

Image of GeoPointer X© Software

GeoPointer X© is the link between your data and the global coordinates, pictures, surveys specific comments and much more. This particular feature is of a great advantage when integrating into one "big picture" the different aspects of a geophysical survey. Not only the underground picture from your geophysical data can be retrieved, but also the surroundings over the ground with the aid of the collected pictures. With the help of our triggering devices the data from GeoPointer X© integrates seamlessly with the GPR data. [more]

Image of GaiaSpectrum Software

GaiaSpectrum® is a very user friendly software for antenna analysis and GPR system performance from different manufacturers. It can be used as a "soft" spectrum analyzer in conjunction with low cost oscilloscopes from Tektronix or any other type of the many file formats it can read. It has many automatic measurements both for the time and the frequency domain. This allows for a quick and efficient parameters assessment of the device under test.[more]

Image of GPRSim.net Simulation Software

GPRSim.net is a basic very simple to use ground penetrating radar simulation tool. By entering the relative dielectric constant, the electric conductivity or the loss tangent and the thickness of the layers a simulation is set and ready to run. The results are displayed in the time and frequency domains. It can be useful for teaching electromagnetic waves propagation through different media or as an introduction to ground penetrating radar techniques. [more]

GPR Plug-in Electronics

Image of Plug-in electronics

The plug-in electronics are a series of sampler and/or transmitter configurations for existing antennas from different manufacturers. At the moment there are three different plug-ins to choose from. Those plug-ins are specially designed to be compliant with the slots and connectors used in the Subecho line of antennas from Radarteam Sweden AB and GSSI antennas that accept plug-in electronics.

The transceiver configuration TR501 has a sampler/transmitter combination together with the switching electronics, this makes possible the use of one antenna in monostatic mode. The signal to noise ratio of the sampler electronics has been optimized for superior performance still retaining a broad bandwidth. [more]

The receiver configuration RX501 has a single sampler and is meant to be used in conjunction with the very high power transmitter VHT501. In fact, it is the same sampler used in the transceiver configuration.[more]

The very high power transmitter VHT501 is designed for very deep survey together with the sampler unit. The power consumption of this unit has been optimized in a way that makes possible to use it with the SIR-3000 radar unit from GSSI without the need of any adaptor (Up to 12 kHz PRF and 30 scans/seconds).[more]

GSSI Adapters

The GSSI adapters are a series of high quality devices that extends the capabilities of the radar systems and antennas manufactured and sold by GSSI.

The support unit for very high power transmitters PRFPLUS-600 makes possible the use of the very high power plug-in electronics model 778 from GSSI or our VHT501 in higher PRF and scan rate modes. This unit provides the user with the possibility of running high speed surveys while using the SIR-3000 radar system. It is also useful when using "high power" output radars such as the SIR-2 and the SIR-2000. [more]

Image of DAB-601 Dual Antenna Box

The dual antenna splitter DAB-601 makes possible the use of two antennas in bistatic mode with radar systems that have only one channel. The DAB-601 has an extra feature that it automatically selects whether to send the TR/RX to the same channel or to separate ones depending on how many antennas are connected. This adapter allows furthermore the use of survey wheel and marker for those antennas that do not have special outputs for that.[more]

The survey wheel adapter SWA-602 allows the use of any GSSI compatible survey wheel adapter for antennas that do not have an special output for it. This is part of the functionality of the dual antenna box but at a reduced price.

Accessories

Image of Coaxial cable

Usually electronic devices and sometimes even software require a bit of peripheral support for fully completing all the available functions. These can be cables, connector adapters, holders, dongles etc.

At first, is not always obvious which extra components the customer might need. Our policy is to listen to what our customers have to say about the use of our equipment and the needs they encounter in their daily work. That's the reason why our list of extra components is by no means static or predefined but constantly growing and expanding.

In our accessories page you can find all the external or supporting components available now. If for some reasons the kind of cable, holder or adapter you need cannot be found there, do not hesitate to contact us for a possible solution.
