GAS Documentation
This manual is intended to be the extended resource for all standard questions on using GAS. It includes information useful for 'standard' users up to advanced users who want to get the most out of the software. It also includes information on problems with the hardware connected to GAS. Pages should start with a general description of a feature and how to use it and then go into detail how to configure it.
What is GAS?
GAS stands for Geoscanners Acquisition Software and is a common platform for geophysical instruments developed by our company. It is primarily intended to provide a user interface for ground penetrating radar units with PC based control. The software was originally develop to interface with units using USB 2.0 communications interface, but there are units operating using TCP/IP communications interface as well. Your copy of GAS might differ from the ones showed here, and that's depending on the type of hardware you own.
